BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Non-linear surge limiters are designed to be used as the main means of protecting electrical equipment of stations and networks of medium-class AC voltage of industrial frequency from switching and lightning overvoltages.

1. Accommodation category 2 according to GOST 15150 (3-10 kV UHL2):

  • OPN-KR/TEL are designed for reliable protection of electrical equipment in networks of voltage class from 6 to 10 kV with an isolated or compensated neutral. Recommended for use in distribution networks to protect transformers and motors;
  • OPN-RT/TEL (OPN-RT/TEL-3) are designed for guaranteed protection of the most critical electrical equipment in voltage class networks from 3 to 10 kV with an isolated or compensated neutral.

2. Accommodation category 1 according to GOST 15150 (6-110 kV UHL1):

  • OPN-RV are designed to protect electrical equipment in networks of voltage class from 6 to 10 kV with isolated or compensated neutral from lightning overvoltages. They are recommended for use in distribution networks to protect transformers, partitioning points, places of transition of cable lines to air lines, as well as to replace obsolete spark arresters.;
  • OPN-RK are designed to protect against switching and lightning overvoltages of electrical equipment of industrial frequency AC power networks with an isolated or compensated neutral of voltage class 35 kV and 110 kV networks with an effectively grounded neutral.
